Chalet Catering

Chalet Amandine is offered on a catered basis only in the winter and on either catered, or self-catered, basis in the summer season. Our chef, Emma, is a classically French trained chef and produces food to the highest restaurant standard. Whether it is Emma herself, or one of her equally experienced chef colleagues, here’s a taste of what you can expect when staying in Chalet Amandine.

Perfect start to the day
No need to rush out of bed – breakfast is laid on. A healthy array of fresh fruit juices, a selection of warming teas and coffee – yoghurts, cereals, fruit and delicious fresh breads & delicate pastries. Your chef will also prepare a daily cooked hot option for you.

High tea temptations
Come back after a day on the mountain to the warmth and comfort of your chalet. Your chef will prepare a treat for your return, so whether your preference is for something sweet like a delicious cake, or something more savoury like a sugar free oat, banana, date & chia bread there will be something tempting waiting for you. Of course nothing beats chunks of crusty baguette with butter and jam!

Celebrate with canapés
When staying in a catered chalet every night feels like a special occasion, and why shouldn’t it, you’re on an amazing holiday in an amazing chalet. You’re dressed and ready for a glass of something chilled with friends and family, ready to regale them with tales of your mountain adventures. Enjoy a canapé & a few nibbles before sitting down to a dinner.

Serving up a sensuous feast
Take a seat at the large farmhouse style table – it’s time for the main event. With an emphasis on using hand-selected, fresh, local and seasonal ingredients you will be served a three course dinner that wouldn’t look out of place in a Michelin starred restaurant. Dinner is complimented by a platter of local cheeses. Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes and your chef will be happy to prepare everything from a simple supper to fine dining delights.

Children & dietary requirements
The chalet is happy to cater for specific dietary requirements, and can serve an earlier high tea for children.
