Welcome to a unique luxury winter adventure. Sitting high above Saint-Gervais-les-Bains at a height of 1350 metres, Chalet Amandine is nestled in an idyllic and tranquil meadowland setting. With direct views of Mont Blanc this stunning luxury chalet is ideally placed for a fully immersive alpine experience.

Arrive in the hamlet of Les Communailles and leave your busy lives behind. Load your luggage on to the skidoo for your ride through the woodland paths and discover your secluded chalet on its own private land a few minutes away.

No cooking, no cleaning, no tidying. This is a holiday! The chalet is fully catered but the staff do not live on site. One of our chefs will come in each morning and provide fresh breakfast and return later for tea and then a 4 course meal (or perhaps try the 8 course tasting menu one night…). They can also take your wine order and make suitable suggestions.

On the chef’s night off experience dinner at a mountain restaurant. A skidoo will collect your party where you will be driven up the mountain to Chez Ernestine for a traditional Savoyarde dinner. But the best is yet to come – return by sledge and torchlight from the restaurant to the chalet front door. Something you will not experience anywhere else!

This is a different chalet holiday experience. In the morning you will travel by skidoo to the ski lift 5 minutes ride away and, after a long day discovering the pleasures of the huge ski area, perhaps making a last stop at the Folie Douces, guests can ski back to the chalet door in the evening.

Les Communailles is part of the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area (covering Saint-Gervais and Megeve). The area has 136 groomed runs totaling 445km and covered by a single lift pass. While most of the pistes are suitable for intermediate skiers, there is plenty of skiing for beginners and advanced off-piste skiers and snowboarders.

No day is complete without a quick, or slow, dip in the hot tub. With direct views of Mont Blanc, and the surrounding mountains, it’s the perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes.
